Friends and Family from Far

Over the past few weeks, we've had the privilege of hosting various friends and family. It was so good to see Cinda's parents, Mindi, and Glenn and Rachel. Sarah enjoys meeting new people especially when she has the opportunity to show them a few of her moves.

Grandpa and grandma were here for a few days and helped with a variety of tasks including a light harvest of our persimmon crop.

We are not real connoisseurs of persimmons but were happy to make one batch of "pudding" and to give some away to a church member.

Mindi visited during the time I was gone to Washington, D.C. In addition to catching up with Cinda, Mindi provided some child care while Cinda participated in her womens group at church.

Glenn and Rachel stopped in on a return trip from Minnesota where they had been helping in a flood disaster recovery effort. We were able to enjoy two meals with them and introduced them to our church.
